Hi there!
My name is Sandra.
I just love dogs and birds! I’ve been an animal lover since childhood. I devoted much time to the cutest parrot called Tweety back there in the mid-1990s, and now my love for these amazing creatures has been passed onto my child.
Now, I am a mother to a wonderful 16-year old daughter Milica. She is a city girl who loves having animal friends well known as pets. Vraba, Mikitsa and Angela are her beloved parrots. There are lots of tweets and cries and wings flapping all day long. She also makes friends with Leo, the most anxious Maltese dog in the world. Even though Leo prefers the indoor life, bedrooms and sofas, he likes to take a brief walk from time to time. It’s a good thing for its health, rather necessary, I would say. We all enjoy ourselves watching it run on the grass, meeting other dogs, but his outdoor adventures eventually come to cease and he comes back home, slow, exhausted and… feeling happy!
Behind the Screens: The Dirty Paw Story Begins
Leo is now relaxed but still energetic. Paw traces are now on beds, sofas and curtains. Parrots’ seeds are suddenly interesting for him to investigate and examine and, and….spill. I’ve spent so many Saturday evenings vacuum cleaning, loading washing machines, sweeping the floor…No happy end story, I would say. Although I’ve had evening nightmares I dreamed of hotel rooms where everything is just fine. Is this something we can keep away from? Can you enjoy your pet and have your home nice and clean?

Hm, slippers, slippers… That word was constantly on my mind. My dog should have some kind of dog slippers. Would he accept slippers? Aha! Wait a minute! Why shouldn’t he try dog shoes for all the mud he likes to run into? I can have my house clean without compromising his freedom. It’s something new for him and for all of us. We’ll be beginners together! After all, we all have our shoes, and Leo is a real member of our family.
